Tell us the job.

Five short questions. Nothing is mandatory, and you'll never be asked for a budget. It just means we arrive at the call already understanding the role instead of spending the first twenty minutes getting there.

What job do you need done?

Describe it the way you'd describe it to a new hire on their first morning. Plain language beats a job title.

Who does it today?

We're working out what the role costs you now. That's what the whole decision hangs on.

What would it need access to?

Pick everything the person doing this job touches. This is usually what determines the timeline.

Systems

"Something old and awkward" is a real answer and not a problem. It's most of what we do.

What would success look like?

If this worked perfectly for six months, what would have changed? That's the KPI we'd hold the employee to.

Where do we send the answer?

A 30-minute call, no charge. If we don't think the job is worth building, that's what you'll hear. It's a short call and you keep the analysis.

That's with us.

Your brief has been sent. We read these properly rather than auto-replying, so expect a real response, usually within a working day.

If the job looks like a poor fit for an AI employee, we'll tell you that by email rather than booking a call to say it in person.

Back to the site

One more step.

We couldn't reach our server just now. Nothing has been lost. Your brief is written and ready; the button below opens it in your email client so you can see exactly what you're sending.

Send my job brief

Or write to hello@customemployees.ai and mention the role.

Step 1 of 5

No budget question

We price against what the job is worth, which we can't know before we've understood it.

No obligation

The call is free and there's no proposal unless you ask for one.

An honest answer

Including "don't automate this", which is the answer roughly a third of the time.

What happens after you send it.

01

We read it properly

Usually within a working day. If something in the brief tells us this isn't a fit, we'll say so by email rather than book a call to tell you in person.

02

Thirty minutes, at your convenience

We map the position, the systems, the authority it would need, and what the job costs you today. You do most of the talking.

03

You get a straight answer

Whether it's worth building, roughly what it would cost, roughly how long, and what the risks are. In writing, so you can take it to whoever else needs to see it.
